Marcus Explains - Elohymns - In The Master Key
Peace to All! Here we have Marcus Explains' Elohymns - In The Master Key EP released on 30 May 2011. The EP features production from myself, Propa, A.C. Layne, Savvy, God Skillz and Marcus himself.
Drenched in the philosophy of his home borough, Brent, in north-west London, Marcus' detailed lyricism draws you in with his slick flow and laidback presence clocking cautionary tales to lost of life to reminding you that ya can't phuck with him.
Here is the opener 'Scroll 13' featuring Julie Iwheta and produced by Savvy. Also check out the video to the track on this blog.

Propa - I'm Up Now
Peace to All folks! Here's Propa's album I'm Up Now!!! Released on 26th May 2012, the album follows on from B4 I Wake Up EP. Short but twice as strong and sweet with every title starting with 'My', i.e. My Aggression, My Pressure. This is not one to be left alone; raw and honest lyricism mixed with great beats, what more can one ask for?
Here's one of the album's highlights for me, My Aggression featuring Omega The Ending. Seriously check out how the beat switches at the end. Gully and Beautiful!!! I don't know why Propa did not rhyme over it?!!

Propa - B4 I Wake Up
Peace people! Here we have one of the UK's finest producers, Propa. Hailing from west London, Chiswick to be exact, Propa has the talent that will leave all in awe. So no long ting check out his B4 I Wake Up EP released on 15th March 2012. It's that ugly face music!
Here's my favourite track, Win:

Savage Ballet - Suspend Your Disbelief

Peace people, here is Savage Ballet's album Suspend Your Disbelief released on 11 May 2011. Savage Ballet consists of Dexter St. Jock on the mic and Eriq Sterling on the production/decks as well as spitting.
Straight up raw sounds and vibes you could just jam to, from poignant to funny. Watch out for more work from the duo. Check out one my favourite tracks, 'Very Down to Earth', below.

Marcus Explains - 'On Square'
The first video from my comrade Marcus Explains, taken from his Elohymns - In The Master Key EP. Big shout out to Propa on the production tip.
" I’m just a throw back with cutting edge sensibilities
Play low but know I own one of the best deliveries
Rest in the B borough
With pride is how the neighbourhood speaks of us
I’m one of many greats you’ll see others" - Marcus Explains

Second video from the Elohymns - In The Master Key EP by Marcus Explains. Video was shot in central London by the River Thames by Mike McKenzie for DrumCam Films™. Props to Savvy on the production tip and Julie Iwheta for the backing vocals. The video also features me and Propa. Yea!!!
"Math to go, Son one of Shabazz tribe
Teachers said Marcus smarts but he lacks drive and chats jive
Rap wise? I'm a franchise! Strong brand
Art form's not in the wrong hands" - Marcus Explains

In The Beginning…
Having grown accustomed to family and friends always
enquiring, “When are you going to be releasing your music?” reminding me that I
seemed to be taking too long, whereas for me it’s been a great rollercoaster of
a learning curve, artistic and personal development.
So, after a four-year delay, including
procrastinating, I present to you Nzela Ebandi, in my mother tongue of Lingala,
which means “The path/journey begins”. Enjoy.
